The Main St. Songwriter's Series was started in 2020 by Keith Davis and is supported by Brian Foley who manages the Cigar Vault in Buda, Texas.  The series was developed to promote local songwriter's.  Each week Davis welcomes a special guest and trades songs and stories with them for two hours in the courtyard behind the cigar vault.  The night is focused on original music, so you won't hear any cover songs and if you request "Sweet Home Alabama", you may get some funny looks........  Host and guest dive into the writing process, inspiration behind the songs and even funny stories about the road.  The listener gets a glimpse of the process that is sometimes very private.   The series runs twice a year.  September to November and March to June.  There is an accompanying Podcast about to be released that is a deeper dive into the songwriting process and includes a live performance.  The series and the podcast are free to everyone and information about both will be posted on this site regularly as well as social media.
